Developing the Next Generation of Creative Minds

Winter break is here and schools are off for the next week. So what better way to use the time than to develop some hidden filmmaking talent?

Themar Academy, a training academy based at twofour54 in Abu Dhabi, opened its doors to children aged 7 – 12 to expand their creative skills in animation, programming and filmmaking.

The three-week Digital Media Academy course challenged kids to produce a 2–3 minute animated film with a message of their own. Participants also got to tour twofour54’s studios and get a feel of how the digital media professionals do it.
