The future space generation

Future Emirati space leaders got front row seats at the launch of a NASA spacecraft.

This month’s launch in Cape Canaveral, Florida was all part of the Generation Space program. But first, what is Generation Space?

Lockheed Martin, Mubadala and the UAE Space Agency, together launched the scheme to train future professionals in the space industry.

The program runs between the UAE and the United States. With the students now in the US leg of their training, they had the opportunity to watch the take-off NASA’s Osiris-Rex spacecraft.
