There was a special treat in store for pupils at Al Mushrif School when life-size characters from the Emirati cartoon series Mansour turned up to meet them.
The school’s auditorium was bursting with excitement when Mansour, the young hero of the popular animated show, appeared on stage with his mother, Mariam, and two best friends, Obaid and Salem.
The 500 or so delighted youngsters got the chance to interact with the characters and the show’s creator, Rashed Al Harmoodi, who spoke to them about the importance of education and pursuing their dreams.
