New track opens at Yas Marina Circuit for r/c cars

An Emirati car enthusiast has opened the UAE’s first purpose-built racing track for radio-controlled cars.

Haroon Al Khoori set up the track at Yas Marina Circuit to provide car fans with a dedicated r/c cars track where they can race and do drifting tricks.

Haroon hopes the track will encourage youngsters to race outdoors with their friends and learn about car parts and mechanics instead of playing racing video games.
